Hello browsers! Welcome back.
As we all say this time of year, I've been so busy. Here, there and everywhere it feels like and all of a sudden its the big event next weekend! But as always, with a constant craving in my heart, I have made time for art. Not many photographic art shots this time (however the inevitable xmas shots will be making an appearance on here at some point. . . . please come back then, I promise they wont be boring )
So art wise, so far this December, I have produced a pin the star on the fairy painting, pin the dummy on the baby painting and an impressively large snowman post box (don't ask x )
Now I have one more arty project on the go . . . which I'm lovin' every bit of. I am decorating a baby keepsake box for a friend of mine whose baby is due next year. We have spent some time talking about ideas and now its my turn to make the magic appear. I am going to post photos of the box in its progression so you can see what I see . . . . . .  transformation !

The changing of seasons

Hello everyone who's ended up here. Sorry it's been a while, but I did move house, and I think that's a fair enough reason to get distracted. 

So I last left off at the end of summer...just before the chaos started. How can summer feel so long ago already! Just in case you have forgotten, here's a little photographic reminder to jolt your memory..........

Lovely aren't they...summer wild flowers. These were ones I discovered on the edge of a corn field. So back to today. Foggy...gloomy...icy at times....oh and did I mention DARK! You'd think that would be the end of sunshine and long sunsets......well you'd be wrong. My next snap shot is from yesterday, 20th November 2011, and it was glorious to see a sunset in all its winter colours. 

Now some of you might wonder how to house move went. Yes, I can confirm that it lives up to its reputation of being a stress bucket. I want to change every bit of decoration in the new house, and its very frustrating doing it bit by bit. I'll let you have a little sneak peek into the fine carpet we've inherited, a real antique you could say, you could even go as far to say it would win first place in any chintz contest!!

Carefree days

Well after experiencing a rather rough patch of stress (moving house....nightmare) it was lovely to take some time out today, get away from the area and forget all my troubles. I've had a lovely day, with lovely friends, watching my lovely daughter playing so lovely with her friends (too much lovelyness never did anyone any harm!)

And on my return home.....feeling rather shattered I couldnt resist snapping this photo of my dog snoring....I felt akin to her in that very moment.....its a dogs life....Zzzzzzzzzzzz

I'm Maria-K and I'm beautiful......hahaha just wanted to break the ice with a little confidence boost. So I have this blog page, correction, I've HAD this blog page for quite some time now, not knowing what to write and where to begin. Then it came to me.....I can upload and post my photos.

 My photos tell you what's happening in my life.....where I am.....what mood i'm in (for example my brightly coloured photos are me in a very bubbly happy mood! )

So here goes.....this might only last for a few weeks, I might not get a single follower, but I'm enjoying myself!
